Pocketed Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pocketed mobile application provided by Talk to You Later, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Pocketed, you agree to these Terms.
1. Pocketed’s purpose
Pocketed is a personal habit-building and awareness tool. It allows you to record purchases you chose not to make, track hypothetical saving progress, set optional goals, and reconsider potential purchases.
2. Pocketed is not a financial service
Pocketed is not:
- — A bank or financial institution
- — A savings account
- — A payment or money-transmission service
- — An investment adviser
- — A financial adviser
- — A credit, debt-management, or tax service
The current version does not connect to financial accounts, transfer money, hold funds, or verify bank balances.
Recording an amount in Pocketed does not mean that amount has been deposited, reserved, transferred, or saved in a financial account.
3. No financial advice
Information and progress shown in Pocketed are provided for personal awareness and general informational purposes. They are not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
You remain responsible for your purchases, saving decisions, account balances, financial obligations, and charitable contributions.
4. Your entries
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter into Pocketed.
Pocketed totals are calculated from your entries and may not reflect your actual financial position. You should independently verify important financial information using records from your bank or financial institution.
5. Local storage and backups
The current version stores Pocketed information locally on your device.
You are responsible for:
- — Securing access to your device
- — Maintaining any backups you want
- — Confirming entries before deleting them
- — Understanding your device provider’s backup and restoration settings
We cannot guarantee that locally stored information can be restored after deletion, device loss, app removal, software failure, or device replacement.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- — Interfere with or disrupt Pocketed
- — Attempt to bypass security protections
- — Reverse engineer the App except where applicable law expressly permits it
- — Use the App for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- — Misrepresent Pocketed as a bank or money-transfer service
7. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Pocketed. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the App will operate without interruptions or errors.
8. Intellectual property
Pocketed, including its design, branding, software, text, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Talk to You Later, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Pocketed for its intended purpose.
9. Third-party services
Your device, operating system, App Store, backup provider, and email provider may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for services operated by those third parties.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Pocketed is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that Pocketed’s totals will be complete, accurate, or suitable for making financial decisions.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Talk to You Later, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pocketed, including financial decisions, lost data, missed savings, or purchases.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Apple terms
If you obtained Pocketed through Apple’s App Store, Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Pocketed except as required by applicable law. Your use of Pocketed is also subject to applicable App Store terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Pocketed evolves. Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date.
