Does Pocketed move money?

No. The current version of Pocketed does not connect to a bank account, transfer money, or hold funds.

Pocketed records hypothetical savings based on purchases you report having skipped.

Is the amount shown in Pocketed my actual bank balance?

No. Pocketed’s totals reflect the entries you recorded. Pocketed does not verify your bank balance or confirm that the money remains available.

Do I need an account?

No. The current version does not require an account or login.

Where is my Pocketed information stored?

Your Pocketed entries, goals, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

How do I remove an accidental entry?

Open the applicable history or activity area and use the available removal control for that entry.

What is Pause?

Pause gives you a cooling-off period before an impulse purchase.

Enter the item and its price, then choose when you want to reconsider it. After the waiting period, decide whether you still want to buy it or would prefer to record the amount as Pocketed.

Pocketed does not automatically transfer the amount when the waiting period ends.

Must I create a saving goal?

No. Goals are optional. You can save for something specific, donate toward a cause, or simply track money you chose not to spend.

How do I delete my information?

Delete individual records using Pocketed’s removal controls. Because the current version stores information locally, uninstalling the App removes its locally stored application data, subject to any backups controlled through your device settings.

Can deleted information be recovered?

Pocketed may not be able to recover deleted locally stored information. Please remove entries carefully.

I changed or lost my phone. Can you restore my entries?

We do not maintain a cloud copy of Pocketed entries in the current version. Restoration may depend on your device provider’s backup and migration tools.
