Firsts, Noted is operated by Talk to You Later, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Firsts, Noted mobile application.
Information you provide
The app may store information you choose to provide, including your email address, your child's name or nickname and birth date, milestone records, journal entries, prompts and responses, photos, videos, and family-circle invitations.
Accounts, cloud storage, and sharing
Firsts, Noted uses Supabase to provide passwordless sign-in, private cloud backup, synchronization, and family-circle sharing. Information associated with a connected book is transmitted to and stored by our cloud service provider so that authorized members can access it across supported devices.
Only people who have been granted access to a book should be able to view its contents. Book owners can invite or remove family-circle members. Contributors may add content according to the access selected by the owner.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat helps the app determine whether a subscription is active. We do not receive or store your full payment-card information. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase and subscription information under their own privacy policies.
Photos, videos, and notifications
The app requests photo-library access only when you choose to select a photo or video. Selected media may be uploaded to your private cloud book when cloud features are connected.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules notifications on your device based on the preferences and birth date you provide. You can change these preferences in the app or disable notifications in device settings.
Service and diagnostic information
Our service providers may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app, such as device information, request logs, authentication events, purchase status, and crash or performance data. We do not sell personal information or use journal content for targeted advertising.
Children's privacy
Firsts, Noted is intended for parents and adult caregivers, not for use directly by children. The app may contain information about a child that a parent or caregiver chooses to record. Adults should only upload or share information they are authorized to manage.
Retention and deletion
You may delete individual memories and attached media in the app. The account-deletion control in the Circle section allows you to request deletion of your account and cloud data you own. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately in Apple Account settings. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or logs where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service recovery.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect stored information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Protect access to your device and email account, since passwordless sign-in links may be delivered by email.
